In the cozy town of Windham, New Hampshire, back in the early 2000s, Zachary and Rachel found themselves on parallel paths that never quite intersected. Despite attending the same schools from elementary through high school, they moved in different circles. Rachel noticed Zach from across the room at school dances, while Zach admired Rachel's creativity from afar in art class, though she was always lost in her own world.
After graduation, they both ventured off to colleges in different states, experiencing all the ups and downs that come with newfound freedom. Eventually, they both ended up in Boston, living with friends and navigating post-college life.
It wasn't until a breezy fall night in 2016 that their paths finally crossed in a meaningful way. Surrounded by mutual friends, Rachel and Zach shared laughs and friendly banter, sparking a connection that would change everything. And it was Rachel's bold move of sending a Facebook message (see screenshot) after one too many cocktails at a company retreat that truly set their love story in motion (shout out Rach).
Their first official date was simple – some fries, plenty of beer, and conversation that flowed effortlessly. Eight years later, they're still going strong, raising their sweet pup, Penelope, sharing smiles and stealing fries from each other's plates whenever they get the chance.
So here's to Rachel's boldness and Zach's admiration, and to the unexpected twists and turns that brought them together. Theirs is a story of chance encounters, shared laughter, and a love that continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
